Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GoalPulse collects, uses, and protects information when you visit goalpulse.io.

Information we collect

  • Server logs: IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, requested URL, response status, and timestamp. Logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
  • Locale preference: a functional language preference cookie may store your selected locale. It is not an advertising identifier.
  • Product analytics: this policy version does not use third-party advertising trackers. The public /data/privacy-safe-analytics-schema.json file is a specification only; if first-party or aggregated analytics are introduced, GoalPulse will document the live event schema, retention, opt-out path, and purpose before deployment.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require account registration to read content.
  • We do not sell or rent user data.
  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers in this policy version.
  • We do not forward user data to football-data.org when match data is fetched server-side.

Third-party services

GoalPulse may use Cloudflare for CDN and security, flagcdn.com for national flag images, and football-data.org for server-side match data. These services may process technical request metadata under their own policies.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, including the EU/UK, California, Brazil, Singapore, and Malaysia, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection to processing, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

GoalPulse is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site changes. Material updates will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, a notice on the site.
